Sara: Hello, I am Sara from Talkume. Thanks for joining us today. Can you tell me about a backend project you worked on recently, and your part in it?

Sara: Hi, I'm Sara from Talkume. Thanks for joining us. Can you tell me about a backend project you worked on recently, and your part in it?

Karim: Sure, last year I worked on the order service for an online grocery app. I built the REST APIs in Node.js with PostgreSQL, and I moved our slow reports to a background queue, so the checkout page got about 40% faster. I also wrote most of the integration tests.

Sara: That sounds like a great improvement to the checkout speed. What is the difference between a process and a thread?
